A Connected Car Device (CCD) Harness Installation

A Connected Car Device (CCD) harness can be ordered and installed in order to prevent the removal of the device from a vehicle. To place an order for CCD harnesses, follow these steps. Once received, follow the instructions below to install the harness on a vehicle.

1. Add vehicle to My.Dealerware.com
2. Install CCD Harness: Connect each component of the harness to the relevant location on the vehicle and Connected Car Device
   • A: connect to the Connected Car Device.
   • B: connect to the vehicle's ODBII (this requires the original OBDII to be removed from its port).
   • C: replace where the original ODBII connector was previously located (snaps into the port). This component could be black/purple or other white.
