Create a New Contract

Before you start

• You can create Contracts from Dealerware Mobile and Dealerware Web. Dealerware Mobile is recommended.
• Create a new contract by accessing either the Contracts tab in the left navigation bar or a completed customer profile in the Customers section in the Dashboard.
• If you have already booked a reservation, locate the reservation on the Contracts page to start the contract.

Steps to add a new contract from the left navigation bar

• Click the Contracts button in the left navigation bar.
• Click the Add Contracts button in the upper right corner of the central interactive pane.
• Search for the customer to whom you want to apply the contact.
• Add scheduling details–including pickup/dropoff dates, pickup/dropoff times, and program.
• Add any additional information (Service Advisor is required).
• Click Save Reservation. This action creates a new contract.
• Locate new contract information by clicking the Customers button in the left navigation bar.
  • Locate a contract either by searching for the name of a customer in the search bar or by clicking the name of a customer highlighted in blue.
  • Click Contracts in the Customer Details section.

  • Locate a contract either by searching for the name of a customer in the search bar or by clicking the name of a customer highlighted in blue or by clicking the contract number highlighted in blue.

Steps to create a new contract from the Contracts tile in the Command Center located in the central interactive pane

• Click the Add button in the Contracts tile in the Command Center located in the central interactive pane.
• This action will open a fly-in on the right side of the screen in which to enter new contract details.
• Search for the customer to whom you want to apply the contact. You can use the customer's name, mobile number, or email address.
• Add scheduling details–including pickup/dropoff dates, pickup/dropoff times, and service advisor.
• Select vehicle information, including program and specific vehicle.
• Click Save. This action creates a new contract.
• Locate new contract information by clicking the Customers button in the left navigation bar.
  • Locate a contract either by searching for the name of a customer in the search bar or by clicking the name of a customer highlighted in blue.
  • Click Contracts in the Customer Details section.
